The session will debunk some myths and clarify a few foundational truths of capital raising in this decade.

Many founders are confused about what is the right time to begin the process of looking for venture capital. They often wonder if this is the right time or they need to wait. They look at start-ups ahead of them and much before them in their business journey successfully raising money and it begins to leave them confused.

The 90 minute journey of this session is to take them through these topics from a practitioner’s point of view:

•        What is the rationale for investing in a start-up and what are their expectations
•        Some need to haves at each stage from an investor’s perspective
•        What kind of information assets they need to be able to create at each stage

Founders at the end of the session should see clarity on ‘if’, ‘when’ & ‘what kind of’ capital will fit well to their capital needs. They should also be able to see what they need to be prepared for and prepared with as they begin approaching investors and the possible questions they will need answers to.
