Raj is a technology visionary and acclaimed business leader who has played a significant role in shaping the IT industry globally over the last four decades. Raj founded Covansys Corp in 1985 that sold to Computer Science Corp in 2007.
Driven by a passion for game-changing results and modernization of the IT industry, Raj established several successful business ventures, including Synova Inc, Vattikuti Technologies, Vattikuti Ventures, and Davinta Technologies. He formed Altimetrik in 2012 with a vision to create a global company that can catalyze digital transformation by bringing a holistic approach and enabling a new emergent culture in organizations. Altimetrik helps to bring unique culture to enterprise clients to build speed and agility by taking more product approach and help to create the enterprise platform by leveraging client resources and their technology.
Through his different ventures, Raj has supported leading global players in healthcare, manufacturing, automotive, retail, travel & hospitality, financial services and has gone the last mile to make technology accessible to less privileged.
Raj is a committed philanthropist, having launched several initiatives. He is the recipient of TiE Detroit 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award, Woodrow Wilson Award for Corporate Citizenship 2002, Ellis Island Medal of Honor and Dykema Gossett 2001 Lifetime Achievement Award. He is a graduate in Electrical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy, India, and post-graduate in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Wayne State University USA. Raj received an honorary doctorate for Business Administration by Bryant University USA.
Raj was honored by the globally acclaimed EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the US National Category in 2020.
